Sharon to visit the US in February

The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon will pay a visit to the US on February 7th aiming at strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two sides in various fields.

The Israeli radio said that Sharon received an official invitation to visit Washington in order to hold talks with the US officials on issues relating to Israeli- American cooperation concerning the policy towards the Palestinian authority in light of Washington's intention to reconsider its relations with the PA and its president Yasser Arafat.
