Ahmad Saadat's arrest denounced

The People's Front For the Liberation of Palestine has expressed its denunciation and strong condemnation to the Palestinian Authority's arrest of its secretary general Ahmad Sadaat.

In a statement circulated in Amman, the front described the arrest of Sadaat as an unprecedented measure aiming to undermine the Palestinian national unity and a response to the Israeli demands and the US pressures. The statement holds the Palestinian authority responsible for the consequences of this measure.

The front's statements called on the Palestinian national and Islamic forces to move and pressure in order to release the secretary general of the People's Front For the Liberation of Palestine.
