Mubarak to inspect oil field in Gulf of Suez

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak will inaugurate soon the most recent oil field at Gebal el-Zeyt in the Gulf of Suez.

The new field is an important location for oil exploration in the Gulf of Suez and includes three fields discovered last year.

Meanwhile, world companies' studies underlined that these area are promising. Studies added that the confirmed volume of reserve in the area located at 70 kilometers far from north west Hurghada reaches 60 million barrels with daily production of 8000 barrel.

Moreover, President Mubarak will review during the visit Hurghada international airport and a number of tourist projects in the governorate.
