Member of the central committee of the Fatah movement Abbas Zaki on Monday in Damascus said he had informed the Syrian vice president that the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat " has readiness for full coordination" with Syria.

Zaki added that he had two rounds of talks with the Syrian vice president on Sunday and Monday. Zaki who arrived in Damascus on Sunday from the Palestinian territories, delegated by Arafat said that " the talks with the Syrian Vice- President Abdul Halim Khaddam were very serious and promising." Zaki added that " Khaddam informed us that Syria's doors will not be locked in the face of Arafat."

Zaki reiterated the Palestinian demands in that no Palestinian can give up the Palestinian national principles which are the right to return and establish the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital and Israel's withdrawal until June 4, 1967 border lines from the West bank, according to international legitimacy resolutions.

Arafat, however, was due to visit Damascus on September 25, but the visit was cancelled in the last minute.
