Saudi embassy in the Czech republic

For the first time since several decades, the first Saudi embassy in the Republic of Czech was opened and the Saudi flag was hoisted on January 11 at the new building of the embassy in the presence of representatives of the Czech foreign ministry and the Arab and foreign diplomatic crops and several Arab and Czech business and media men.

It was agreed between Saudi Arabia and the Czech to open an embassy for al-Riyadh in the Czech Republic ( Prague ) during the visit held by the Czech President Vatslav Havel to Saudi Arabia in the spring of 2001.
