Moscow seeks to organize an Arab- Israeli parliamentary meeting

The Lebanese weekly al- Osbo' al-Arabi said in its recent issue that Moscow seeks to host an Arab- Israeli parliamentary meeting including parliament members from Syria, Lebanon, Palestine and Israel and this will be in the context of the international efforts aiming at calming down conditions in the Middle East.

The magazine added that the preliminary consultations concerning this meeting which will be held under Russian, American and European auspices on January 17 are being made with a Syrian parliamentary delegation as the Syrian position regarding this issue, the most important, has not be settled yet.
