Arab League calls for protecting Palestinians against Israeli violence

Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa has underlined the need for protecting Palestinian civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories. Moussa said that he has discussed with the director general of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) ways of drafting an executive formula for carrying out the Geneva Convention on protecting civilians in times of armed conflicts.

Moussa underlined the need for dispatching international observers to protect Palestinians and to maintain their security and stability.
