Arafat to make a change in the Palestinian negotiating team

The Palestinian official in charge of Jerusalem file in the Palestinian Authority Serri Nuseibah has stressed that the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat has decided to make a change on the negotiating Palestinian team.

Nuseibah said that this team will include the Palestinian officials Ahmad Qrei' the chairman of the Palestinian legislative council; the secretary of the PLO executive committee Mahmoud Abbas and the chairman of the preventive security department in Gaza Col. Muhammad Dahlan and others.

The Israeli radio quoted Palestinian sources as saying that among reasons which provoked Arafat to take this decision is the need to appear as a moderate figure before the world mass media and foreign diplomats.
