Jordan has recognized Afghanistan
Jordan has announced it has recognized the state of Afghanistan since 1948 until the present time and that relations between the two countries were only severed when Taliban movement assumed power in this country in 1996.
The secretary general of the Jordanian foreign ministry Shaher Baak said in press statements published on Sunday that there is no need for Jordan to recognize once again the Afghani government because this government is already recognized and has a non- resident ambassador and that what is taking place now is but a continuity in the Jordanian- Afghani relations after the Taliban movement and there is a possibility to nominate a Jordanian ambassador to Kabul.
