Mrs. Mubarak to open Thursday Child Book Fair

Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak will open on Thursday the 18th Cairo International Child Book Fair.

Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni said that some 750 Arab and foreign publishing houses representing 49 countries are taking part in the fair this year.

The Minister of Culture noted that as many as two million books will be showcased in the Fair.

Seminars will be held on the sidelines of the event on the role of social insulations in promoting the habit of reading with children, said Dr. Samir Sarhan, Chairman of the Egyptian Book Authority.
