Syrians of the occupied Golan stress commitment to resisting occupation

The Syrian citizens in the occupied Golan heights have renewed their loyalty to their mother land Syria and pride over President al-Assad's leadership as well as their commitment to resisting the occupation and determination to restore back the Golan to the Syrian sovereignty.

In a statement issued on Thursday the Syrians in the Golan voiced solidarity with the Palestinian uprising and with the Lebanese still under the Israeli occupation.

They strongly denounced the continued Israeli oppressive practices in the occupied Arab territories, amid an American support, noting that the campaign of arrests, carried out by the Israeli authorities in the lines of the Syrians in the occupied Golan.

The occupied Syrian Majdal Shams village in the Golan witnessed on Wednesday a large demonstration carried out by the Syrians in all parts of the occupied Golan, condemning the practices of the of the Israeli authorities.

The demonstrators called on the people of the Golan to cancel festivities on the occasion on the Christmas and the New year in solidarity with the Palestinians in occupied Palestine and the Syrian detainees in the Israeli jails.
