Ebeid calls on Sharon to be wise

Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid called on Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon to use the voice of wisdom, especially after the Palestinian side pledged to use what it has of rationality and patience in order to give a chance to the negotiators from the two sides to sit at the negotiating table. At a press conference he gave in Aswan on Wednesday, Ebeid said that violence breads violence, but, he added, development and hope for better future can achieve security for all, including the Israeli people.

He hoped for reaching a breakthrough in the current situation, confirming that the Palestinian people need just and comprehensive peace.
