Arab Parliamentarian conference to be held in Khartoum

The secretary general of the Arab Parliamentary Union Nour eddine Bu Shkouj said that the 10th conference of the Arab parliamentary Union will be held in Khartoum next February.

In a press conference held in Khartoum, Bu Shkouj explained the conference will discuss means of the Arab states's contribution to backing the Palestinian Intifada against the Israeli occupation and will concentrate on an important issue which is not to mix between Islam and terrorism and the legitimate resistance of occupation.

He added that the federation aims at strengthening dialogue, contacts and the exchange of experts between Arab parliaments in legislative areas and work to deepen democratic concepts.
