AIDS in Jordan

The Jordanian health minister Faleh al-Naser said that AIDS in Jordan has so far tolled 286 of which 166 are foreigners.

In press statements on the occasion of the AIDS World Day al- Naser said that AIDS casualties were a result of blood transfer outside Jordan but this has changed so that" sexual intercourse" will be the main reason for the infection and that youth are the highest target.

He explained that Jordan is among the countries which are of low AIDS infectious cases, but factors are available for increased cases.
