British ambassador lectures in Amman

The British ambassador in Amman Edward Chaplin has stressed that his country gives top priority in her foreign policy to the establishment of peace in the Middle East through giving a new impetus to the ME peace process which witnessed a recession recently.

In a lecture he delivered at the al-Yarmouk university on the British foreign policy in the ME region, the British ambassador said that the key to solving the Middle East question is in the hands of the sides concerned and what is needed at the meantime is the commitment of these sides to the land for peace principle.

Chaplain also stressed the importance of initiating a dialogue among cultures and nations in order to establish peace in the world.
