Demo Turns to Clashes in Smara

The police arrested over the week end fifteen persons during a demo staged by a hundred people to claim jobs and transportation. The demo degenerated when the protesters marched in various streets of the city and were joined by other people who started to throw stones at the security forces. The police was forced to intervene to disperse the riot.

The group of persons arrested will face trial.
