US foreign relation council agrees on establishing institutional relations with Egypt
Foreign Relations Council in New York (NY) agreed on establishing institutional relations with the Egyptian Council for Foreign Relations.
In statement upon arriving home from the USA, Mohammed Shakir, Chairman of the Egyptian Council said that Egypt would be the second state-after Argentina with which the US Council agreed on establishing institutional relations.
Shakir noted his meeting in the USA had stressed the necessity of translating the last stances, adopted by US President George W. Bush on establishing a Palestinian State, into tangible steps, not mere wishes.
