Israeli court extends detention of Australian citizen

An israeli court in Tel Aviv on Sunday decided to extended the detention of the Australian citizen March Eidan who is accused of trying to contact the Iranian embassy in Cyprus.

The Israeli radio said that Eidan will continue to be detained until necessary judicial measures concerning him are taken The radio indicated that Eidan performed his military service in the Israeli army.
