Jordanian banks to deal with the EURO

Jordanian banking sources announced that the last date to change the European currencies by the EURO in the Jordanian banks will be March 2002 when the new currency ( the EURO) will be put in the markets in January 2002.

The sources added that by using EURO in the Jordanian Banks, national currencies of 11 European states will be canceled.

The sources also stressed that starting dealing with EURO will not be accompanied by constraints at the Jordanian Banks nor its clients.
