Maher's address to UN fouses on peace process

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Maher leaves Cairo for New York tomorrow Tuesday to attend the 56th session of UN General Assembly.

In his address , Maher will centre on the developments of the situation in the region especially the Palestinian question, means to revive the peace process and anti-terrorism efforts.

Maher is expected to meet US Secretary of State Colin Powell on the efforts to establish peace in the region and the war in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat will address the UN General Assembly within coming few hours.
