Originally published

A Moroccan national living in South Africa was killed end of last week by a group of thieves who shot him in the heart as he was driving his car.

M.M. was driving back home from his work in a farm when he was attacked by an armed gang, that apparently were after his brand new car.

The victim, who also held the South African nationality, reportedly tried to resist them when they shot him. The bullet crossed his arm and settled in his heart, killing him on the spot. The passenger, another Moroccan, fled unhurt.

The 30-year old man is survived by a spouse and two children. He has been living for six years in the largest South African metropolis.
