The Israeli helicopters on Thursday assassinated two Palestinians in Toulkarem and kidnapped two activists from the Hamas movement in Beit Eiba and near Hebron.

Meantime, Israeli forces broke into new Palestinian areas, villages and cities.

Violent confrontations took place in the West Bank and Gaza between the Palestinian Intifada youths and the Israeli forces.

As Zahafa Galoun, chairperson of the Meritz movement at the Israeli Knesset admitted that the Israeli intelligence provide the settlers with aids and support to intensify their attacks against the Palestinians, a report by Batsalim Israeli organization on human rights said that Israel does not take any measure to prevent the attacks of the settlers in the territories of 1948.

Meanwhile, the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres said in a statement to the Israeli radio on Thursday that his meeting with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat was a consultation meeting during which no political negotiations were held.

Meanwhile, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon told the US administration in Washington that he formed a negotiation team with the Palestinians under his chairmanship and the membership of the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres in order to reach a solution.

The Israeli radio said that Sharon talked about the formation of this team in the press conference he held on Thursday evening with the British Prime minister Tony Blair, considering that resuming the negotiations is linked to a total cease- fire.
