Peres confers with Vidovin

The Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres met in occupied Jerusalem on Friday received each of the Russian ME special envoy Andre Vidovin and Terry Rod Larsen, the representative of the UN secretary general and the ME EU special envoy to the region Angle Moratinos.

The Israeli radio said that Peres told the three envoys that Israel asks the Palestinian Authority to halt the Palestinian Intifada and detaining the Palestinians who are taking part in operations against Israel.
