The Egyptian- Moroccan higher committee
The Egyptian- Moroccan joint higher committee will hold its next session under the chairmanship of President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and King Muhammad VI in al-Rabat in November.
The committee will discuss several important issues especially on the economic field and increasing the volume of trade exchange to reach by the end of the current year USD 70 million as well as implementing several joint economic projects which meet the expectations of the two countries.
The committee will also discuss means of achieving the set trade exchange volume between the two countries estimated at USD 200 million annually and eliminating impediments hindering investments between the two countries.
Worthy mentioning that the Egyptian- Moroccan committee is the only higher committee between Egypt and another state to be headed by the highest authority in the country. A matter which reveals that there is a firm determination and a strong political will to develop relations between the two states who share common views regarding various political, economic, regional and international issues.
