Palestinian Authority condemns acts of assassination, liquidation

The Palestinian Authority (PA) on Wednesday condemned the assassination and liquidation operations which target leading figures and cadres that claimed the lives of many Palestinian leading figures.

A statement released by the PA on Wednesday said that the PA stresses, in principle, its total rejection and condemnation for the acts of liquidation and assassination and warned against the consequences of such a policy at all levels.

The statement added that despite the extremist rightist stances advocated by Zeafi, the Palestinian authority reassures its unwavering position in rejecting resorting to such an operation and other acts of liquidation or assassination.

The statement explained that the PA stressed its decision provides for ceasing fire completely, noting that the PA will carry out all measures necessitated by its obligations to this effect and according to the law.
