Some 11 Algerian municipality guards killed in an ambush

Some 11 members of the Algerian municipality guards were killed on Sunday in an ambush implanted by an armed group near " beer al-Ater " in Tebseh area, 630 Km to the east of the capital Algiers.

The Algerian dailies issues on Monday said that the guards who were killed were surprisingly hit by 20 gunmen who attacked them and killed them while they were getting water from a water spring in the area.

Two shepherds were knifed on Saturday evening and a third was kidnapped in " Lala Odeh" forest in Tayaret district to the west of the capital Algiers.

So far number of persons killed in Algeria since the beginning of this month raised to 40.
