Israeli sources regret recent statements by Mubarak, Maher in criticizing Israeli policy
Sources at the Israeli foreign ministry have criticized statements recently made by President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher in which they criticized Israel's policy and stances.
The sources, on the other hand, said that replacing the Israeli ambassador in Cairo by a new ambassador who is Jedoun Bin Maer came in an attempt to improve relations between the two sides.
Worthy mentioning that Egypt still refuses to send an Ambassador to Israel because of the policy pursued by the Israeli government against the Palestinians.
The New Israeli ambassador in Cairo was Israel's ambassador to Copenhagen. He occupied several positions at the Israeli foreign ministry. The Israeli radio reported.
