Originally published

The European commission said on Friday it has allotted urgent humanitarian aids estimated at five million EUROS for the Palestinians children and women in the Palestinian territories.

In a statement, the commission said the aids will be delivered through the European office for humanitarian aids in the Palestinian territories which is supervised by commissioner Paul Nelson and will permit women and children to get health services as well as developing psychological and social aids services to young people who were shocked as a result of what the commission called acts of violence.

This psychological aid will be provided to workers at the health sector who are in direct contacts with the incidents and suffer pressure. The aids will also include maintaining the houses of refugee families.

Since the beginning of this year European commission aids to the Middle East estimated at 39 million EUROS, with the greater part given to the Palestinian refugees and people of the Palestinian territories.
