Al-Bashir freed al-Turabi

The Sudanese President, who gave his order to free the leader of the People's Congress Hassan al-Turabi, said that he instructed the ministry of justice to stop trying members of the opposition national coalition and against the People's Congress party led by al-Turabi.

Al-Bashir explained in a speech he delivered on Monday at the inauguration session to convene its second meeting that this measure comes to improve the atmosphere of confidence and dialogue and in response to the request of the Sudanese bar association, noting that no body will stay in prison only those who are dangerous to the public and sublime interests of the country.
