Saudi Arabia severs relations with Taliban

Originally published

Saudi Arabia has decided to sever all sorts of its relations with the Afghani Taliban government. A Saudi official statement issued on Tuesday in al-Riyadh explained that the decision to severing relations came because the Taliban movement has encouraged and trained several Saudis and others to carrying out terrorist acts and its rejection to hand over those criminals to justice, stressing that Saudi Arabia will continue to support the people of Afghanistan.
