King Mohammed congratulates King Fahd on National Day
Morocco's King Mohammed VI sent Sunday a cable of congratulations to King Fahd of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of his country's National Day.
After he conveyed the Saudi monarch warmest congratulations and best, heartfelt wishes of good health, happiness and well-being, King Mohammed hailed Saudi Arabia's "wise contribution to the settlement of problems," and its role at the international scale "to preserve the sacred values, image and dignity of Islam in all regions and to make of the holy shrines of Islam the pride of all souls and a blossoming oasis of worship, peace and security."
King Mohammed VI also hailed "the firm, unshakable ties of brotherhood and friendship binding the two brotherly kingdoms and peoples that are linked by the same religion, by attachment to the principles of moderation and balance and by concern to unify Arab ranks and fulfil the aspirations of the Islamic Ummah to progress, glory and sovereignty."
"May the Almighty assist us for peace, glory and dignity of our Ummah and for the liberation of the occupied territories and in the first instance Al-Quds Acharif and Palestine," the sovereign went on in his message.
