An earthquake in Steif, Algeria

The Algerian earthquake monitoring center announced on Sunday that an earthquake took place on Saturday evening at Steif district, to the east of Algiers of 4.1 degree, according to Richter scale.

The center explained that this earthquake took place at 7.20 GMT time and its center is in Babour mountain, 35 Km to the north of Steif. The center gave no mention to victims or material damages inflicted as a result of the earthquake.
