Powell speaks on the telephone with Peres

The US secretary of state Colin Powell on Late Thursday evening made a telephone call with the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres, according to the Israeli radio.

The radio added that Powell and Peres discussed during the telephone call current developments in the Palestinian territories and the attacks which targeted New York and Washington.
