Sorour leads Egypt's delegation to IPU conference

Egyptian People's Assembly Speaker Ahmad Fathi Sorour will lead Egypt's delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Conference to be held in Burkina Faso on September 7.

The conference will debate two main topics, the first is on protecting and caring for children, and the second pertains to combatting HIV/AIDS and other diseases that pose threats to economic, political and social development.

The conference will touch on conditions in the Middle East through the paper to be presented by the Egyptian parliamentary division.
