Tennis: Belgium spies on Morocco

Belgium has dispatched its tennis team captain, Steven Martins, to spy on Morocco's stars in the US open currently held in New York, pending a decisive davis cup encounter against the North Africans.

"I am closely following the Moroccan players," said Martins, whose team will play Morocco September 21-23 in Liege part for a world group play off.

Although they play at home, the Belgians know that it is not easy to win a strong and homogenous Moroccan team, made up of Hicham Arazi, Younes Al-Aynaoui and Karim Alami.

While Al-Aynaoui and Alami were ousted in the first round of the US open, Arazi has reached the third round and will play this Saturday Russia's Marat Safin.
