Full cooperation between NCW, Bahraini Higher Council for Women

The Egyptian First Lady Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak, Chairwoman of the National Council for Women (NCW), stressed the necessity of full cooperation and exchange of experiences between Bahraini Higher Council for women formed recently under Sheikh Sbika Bint Ibrahim and the National Council for women in Egypt.

The National Council for Women Secretary General Farkhonda Hassan said that the council is so pleased for setting up a higher council in Bahrain which is an addition in favour of Arab women in general and Bahraini women in specific.

She added that this is a pioneering civil step that contributes to promoting Bahraini women role. Farkhonda Hassan pointed out that setting up a Bahraini council will deepen fields where they participate to achieve comprehensive development.

Moreover, the Council's Secretary-General congratulated Bahraini women for having such a council that looks after their interests and works on development of women's role in public life.
