Originally published

In an unprecedented step, the political and party forces in Egypt have decided to launch a campaign against the Egyptian government to prevent receiving the new Israeli ambassador to Egypt Jedoun Bin Ami in Cairo. These forces include members at the Egyptian parliament and parties represented in it. Bin Ami will assumed his post of office on September 1st and will succeed Zeifi Mazaeil whose term of office will end by this month.

News reports said that members at the Egyptian parliament started coordination contacts with parties of the national and political forces which reject the Israeli existence in Egypt in order to submit an urgent memorandum to the Egyptian government demanding rejection to receive the new Israeli ambassador unless the Israeli government of Sharon will end the occupation of " Beit al-Sharq" (Orient House) in occupied Jerusalem, ending Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories and called for resuming the Israeli- Palestinian negotiations.
