Parliamentary committee condemns Israeli state terrorism

Arab Foreign and National Security Committee in the Egyptian Shura Council lauded the great efforts exerted by President Hosni Mubarak to put an end to the deteriorating situation in the Middle East.

The Parliamentary Committee fully agrees with statements by Mubarak on the fact that violence breeds violence and war will first damage those who ignite it.

Israel should understand that Palestinian President Yasser Arafat or anyone to succeed him will not be able to give in to Israeli violence.

The committee condemned the state terrorism practiced by Israel against the unarmed Palestinians asserted that the Israeli occupation of the Orient House and hoisting the Israeli flag on top of it, is part of the Israeli aggression that causes more violence.

It's a provocative act that aims at ending the Palestinian presence in A1 Quds.

The Israeli move is a flagrant assault on the signed agreements. The Arab world should realize the dangerous move of Israel.

The Shura Council Committee called on the International Community to shoulder its responsibilities on bases of UN Security Council resolutions 242 and 338 and land for peace principle.
