Israeli warplanes continue provocative sorties

The Foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Thursday received a telephone call from the Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hamoud during which they held consultations and exchanged views on latest developments in the region.

On the other hand, the Israeli helicopters flew intensively on Thursday afternoon over the occupied Lebanese Shebaa farms.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli forces positioned in Tellat al-Ramtha in Shebaa farms carried out on Thursday at dawn a mopping- up operation using machine guns to the eastern sides of Bastara liberated farm, al-Reihanah hills and Shanouh farm. This operation was preceded by throwing light bombs over the Lebanese areas adjoining the Israeli borders especially over Rweisat al-Alam and Tallet al-Mugher along al-Houla plain.
