Threats against Qatar

The Kuwaiti daily al-Seyasah said on Friday that it had received critical information from Egyptian sides saying that the Egyptian authorities fear over the carrying operations by extremists Arab sides inside Qatar and against its interests abroad might reach the level of liquidating certain political figures, in reply to the extreme dealing with Israel.

Egyptian internal and external security sides expected the occurrence of terrorist acts by Qatar through convening the conference of the World Trade Organization in November if the government of Qatar will not retreat and withdraw its invitation extended for the Israelis to take part in the conference.

Arab diplomatic sources in Doha received threats and warning from Arab capitals of boycotting the conference, whereas the Qatari foreign minister stressed the commitment of his government to invite the Israelis, asserting that no backtracking for the decision taken by Qatar to inviting Israel to the conference.
