Kuwait calls for boycotting Doha conference
In retaliation to Qatar's declaration of Israel's participation at the World Trade Conference due to be held in Doha in November this year, the chairman of the Kuwaiti al-Ummah council ( parliament) Jasem al-Khurafi hoped that Kuwait will not take part in this conference because of Israel's participation in it.
Al-Khurafi explained: " my personal view as a chairman of the Nation's Council that Kuwait has to have a clear role towards this matter. I hope the Kuwaiti government will not take part in the meeting."
However, the two active members of the Kuwaiti Ummah council al-Neibari and Abdul Samaad has criticized in the People's Conference to resist normalization with Israel Qatar's consent on Israel's participation in the conference.
Al-Neibari said: It is a shame that Israel will attend a conference being held in an Arab Gulf state, while Abdul Samaad said: it does not come to " normal" mind that Israel's feet will touch an Arab territory. He questioned whether Israel's participation will be a present for the occupation force and for the massacres committed against the killed and displaced Palestinians.
