Arab discussions on dangers of anti-missile missiles
The Arab foreign ministers will discuss in the meetings of the 116th session of the council of the Arab League (AL) on September 8 and 9 under the chairmanship of the Islamic republic of Comoros the dangers of American armored anti-missiles missiles and its impact on security in the region and the world.
This was expressed by ambassador Fatehi Marii, the advisor for the Egyptian foreign minister and the chairman of the Arab committee in charge of following up and monitoring the Israeli nuclear activities which is a violation to the NPT.
Marii explained that the committee decided to submit this issue to the Arab foreign ministers to study it due to its consequences on the Arab national security, in light of the existing strategic cooperation agreement between the US and Israel.
Marii added that this means that Israel will make use of these armored missiles and consequently will lead to imbalance in forces in the region, especially as Israel owns nuclear weapons which are not subject to international guarantees system by the International agency of the atomic agency.
