Kuwait contributes to beautify the Arab League premises
Kuwait will donate art work as a contribution to beautify the headquarters of the general secretariat of the Arab League (AL). This was in response to the call advocated by the AL secretary general Amr Moussa that the Arab states have to take part in such works.
The secretary general of the national council for culture, the arts and literature in Kuwait Muhammad Ghanem al-Rumeihi said that Kuwait handed over artistic works to signify Kuwait's participation in beautifying the AL. Thereby Kuwait is the first Arab state to offer such a contribution.
The Kuwaiti official noted that Kuwait's contribution is considered a recognition to the efforts made by the AL to keeping peace and attaining rapprochement among the Arab states.
