Al-Assad cleared out misunderstanding
The chairman of the foreign relations committee at the French national assembly Mr Francoise Le Claire said on Tuesday to journalists after his meeting with President Bashar al-Assad and was quoted by the French TV channel LCA as saying: " there was a misunderstanding to what was stated in the speech of President Bashar al-Assad before Pope John Paul and his excellency's clarification came to eliminate every misunderstanding about this matter."
