Some 5 billion dollars loss of the Palestinians

The Palestinian authority estimated total losses of the Palestinians in various economic areas at more five billion USD.

The Palestinian minister of finance Muhammad Zuhdi al-Nashashibi announced that total value of the losses inflicted on the Palestinian economy as a result of the total siege and the Israeli aggression on Palestine since the eruption of the Intifada until the mid of the current month June at $ 5.2 billion.

Al-Nashashibi indicated that the value of losses inflicted as a result of the suspension of various production sectors reached $ 3570 million, of which $ 426 million as losses in the sector of exports and relay industry, electricity and the water and $ 411 million losses in the sector of constructions.

Al-Nashashibi continued that losses of the sector of agriculture reached $ 234 million; $ 211 million in the sector of trade, $ 107 million in the sector of transport, $ 382 in the sector of services while tourism and other related sectors had losses of $ 551 million.
