Algerian, Swiss oil cooperation

The Swedish group ( ABB ) for advanced technology has announced it had won a contract of a value of $ 70 million to develop an important oil pipeline in Algiers where its completion will take two years.

News reports said that the group is presumed to raise the capacity of the pipeline which is owned by the Algerian national company " Sonatrack" from 17 to 23 million barrels annually.

This pipeline links " Hasi Berlin oil field" to the shipping station of al-Hamrin basin, 1000 kilometers from Algiers at a length of 290 Kms.
