Relief operations in Sudan

Originally published

The Sudanese government has formed operations rooms in order to facilitate the process of relief operations to citizens and to provide them with shelters.

This was following the waves of migration which flew from Baher al-Gazelle to the Southern Darfour province following the attack launched by the Sudanese rebellion movements against Raja and Deim al-Zubeir cities.

The Sudanese government also decided to intensify relief operations to the area to which citizens migrated from Baher al-Gazelle in addition to providing medicines, water, tents and housing services, besides operations of relief and displacement to fill the feeding gap in the Southern Darfour province.

President al-Bashir on Saturday recommended national organizations and sides concerned to meet the needs of the displaced in Baher al-Gazelle.
