Amnesty international decries Israeli aggressions
The London-based human rights watchdog, Amnesty International, decried the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinian people.
More than 300 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli forces during the Al-Aqsa Intifada (uprising), Amnesty deplored in its 2000 report made public Wednesday at a press conference in Rabat.
The organization blamed the Israeli forces for excessive use of force and heavy weaponry, including helicopters, chars and fighting ships, against unarmed Palestinians.
Amnesty also criticized Israel for the mass arrest of Palestinians and the torture inflicted on them by the Israeli authorities.
