Egyptian delegation takes part in death anniversary of President Hafez al-Assad

Delegated by the Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, an official Egyptian delegation will take part in the celebration to be held on the first anniversary of the late Syrian President Hafez al-Assad.

The delegation is composed of the information minister Safwat al-Sharif, the ministers of higher education and tourism and the advisor for the Egyptian President for political affairs Osama al-Baz.

The late president's anniversary celebrations will be also attended by delegations of the Egyptian parties and trade unions and high ranking Egyptian officials and other Arab officials from various Arab states.
