Chairman of US religious freedoms committee uncovers its incredibility
The US House of Representatives' foreign relations committee has listened to the report drafted by the US Religious Freedoms Committee on religious freedoms in 12 countries visited by the committee.
However, the committee chairman Elliott Abraham uncovered the incredibility of the committee's activities when he told the House of Representatives that the report did not include the situation in Israel and the Israeli practices against Palestinians.
He said the committee which visited Israel found that the situation there was extremely complicated and needed more action.
He admitted that the committee's members were not prepared to submit an official report or recommendations to the US administration, as regards the situation in Israel or inside the occupied lands.
